Every October, we celebrate WORLD MISSION MONTH. This year, 2026, marks the 100th anniversary of World Mission Day (October 18).

Under the theme “One in Christ, United in Mission,” Pope Leo XIV reminds us that our lives must be united with Christ and that mission is the responsibility of every baptized person, not just a few. He calls each of us to place our unique gifts at the service of mission. We all have a role to play.

The Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith assists and supports missionary activity in the world’s 1,100 poorest dioceses through prayer and charity.
