Thank you for attending the Development and Peace–Caritas Canada fundraising concert

The Diocesan Council of Development and Peace – Caritas Canada, Diocese of Moncton, would like to thank you all for turning out in such large numbers for the fundraising concert it organised last Monday, Easter Monday, featuring two choirs from our diocese and the Acadian singer Pauline Légère. We extend our sincere thanks to these beautiful voices, which moved the dozens of people who made the journey to Christ the King Church in Moncton. Thank you also for purchasing tickets, whether for yourselves or for others in need, and for donating to support our two sisters, Louise Cormier and Isabelle Lavoie, who have been selected to take part in the solidarity trip to Peru next summer. Indeed, a delegation of 10 French-speaking Canadians, including Louise and Isabelle from our Diocese of New Brunswick, will travel to this Latin American country next July to visit our partners and see the work being done with the money you donate each year. Louise and Isabelle need our support to fund this trip.

Finally, we thank you once again for keeping in your prayers those who are working to build a world of peace and justice.
