Celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Aug 15th and 16th

Throughout the Diocese of Moncton, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary shall be celebrated on Sunday 16 August 2026 in place of the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

In all parishes and communities of the Diocese, the readings, prayers and proper texts for the Solemnity of the Assumption shall be used for all Masses on Sunday 16 August 2026.
