Project to manufacture beds for children in need - Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers, and growing rapidly in Canada. Our mission is simple and urgent: No child sleeps on the floor in our city, we build and deliver new single and bunk beds to children in need, aged 3 to 17.We are also launching a new initiative: partnerships with woodworking programs in secondary schools. Through this approach of “young people building beds for other young people,” we are strengthening skills, empathy, and local impact.

Volunteering gives hope; only a few hours / month! "Second Chance Workshop" a non-profit agency, restores and sells used items to help unemployed people and thus increase their chances of finding a job. Trainees registered in the program are provided 5 hot lunches / week.  Do you like to cook? We need you!
