• REDISCOVERING THE ART OF DYING:  A VIRTUAL BOOK STUDY   This Lent you are invited to join us in reading and discussing Sr. Nuala Kenny’s book: Rediscovering the Art of Dying: How Jesus’ Experience and Our Stories Reveal a New Vision of Compassionate Care. Then join us virtually via Zoom for three sessions to discuss the material. Sr. Nuala is a medical doctor, ethicist, professor emeritus with Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine and a member of the Sisters of Charity of Halifax. When she visited Moncton a few years ago, she said the goal of this book was to “bring together theological and spiritual reflection of Jesus’ experience of suffering and death with patient and family experience of sickness and dying today,” garnered during her many years of working in medicine.
