The Moncton Diocesan Council of Development and Peace invites you to meet Raquel Soto, a Colombian partner of Development and Peace, as part of her tour of Quebec and New Brunswick.

During this meeting, which will take place at the Place Cathédrale community hall (224 Saint-George Street) on Monday, March 27^th  from 11L:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Raquel Soto, 31 years old and animator of a School of Documentary Creation, will tell us how her journey with the Asociación Campesina de Antioquia (Peasant Association of Antioquia - ACA, Colombia) has allowed her to live again after having experienced violence and displacement.

This association, a partner of Development and Peace-Caritas Canada, provides Raquel and the women of her community with resources to preserve and pass on their traditional life as rural women. The meeting with Raquel is a wonderful opportunity to talk face-to-face with a Development and Peace partner and learn more about the mission of this international solidarity organization and its humanitarian work around the world.

Please note that Raquel speaks Spanish and her presentation will only be translated into French.
