The Louisbourg Choir invites you on a journey back in time with its show Italian Secret Gardens, where you can hear Italian Renaissance madrigals that explore themes of love, passion and betrayal. To bring you the spirit of the gallantry of the era, the choir will be accompanied by seven musicians who will introduce you to a rich palette of sounds using period instruments such as the harpsichord, theorbo, baroque guitar, douçaine, early violins and various percussion instruments, giving each piece a unique and captivating colour. The concert will take place on Sunday, 26 October at 3 p.m. at St John United Church in Moncton. Tickets are available on the Louisbourg Choir website (https://www.choeurlouisbourgchoir.ca/) and at the door during concerts. Admission is free for students.
