Pastoral appointments

Pastoral Appointments – May 7, 2024 

Archbishop Guy Desrochers, C.Ss.R., announces the following pastoral appointments, which take effect immediately: 

Father Wislais Simervil is appointed Dean of the Francophone South Deanery. He is also appointed Moderator of the Curia.

Father Jean Bélisle, C.Ss.R. is appointed Dean of the Francophone North Deanery.

Father Angus Johnston is appointed Dean of the Anglophone Deanery. He is also appointed Episcopal Vicar for all the English-speaking parishes of our archdiocese.

Mr. Clarence Robichaud is appointed Master of Ceremonies for the diocesan celebrations held at the cathedral.

Mr. Claude Labranche is appointed Master of Ceremonies for the celebration of confirmations presided over by the Archbishop.
